Christopher Whittemore
Art brut with 15 years of experience leading UIUX, brand strategy, prototyping, and visual storytelling. Specialist in Product Design, Research, Design Systems, Motion design, and Conceptual Art Direction.
Outside of my work, I like to do a million things. Including (but is not limited to) horror cinema club, cooking delicious new recipes, traveling the world, reading novels, painting, and spending time outside. I live and work in Raleigh, North Carolina with my wife, Brooke and our Great Dane, Tova.
Professional Trajectory
I’ve been professionally working as a UIUX software designer and illustrator operating out of the United States. I’ve worked across numerous professional verticals; human resources, social media, healthcare insurance, and credentialed healthcare marketplaces to name a few.
Most recently I have been working to set the foundations of my own life-long design studio, Kutzpa, with my wife. Together we aim to develop a client base looking to partner directly with contract designers and artists.
Looking ahead, I’m aiming to be employed as either W2 or contractual, and continue to have an administrative hand in my own business while my wife handles the creative development. I love working with fun teams of people, training new designers, and building great things.
